Patriarch Rai urges leaders to rise above differences

Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai voiced hopes on Sunday that the new government success in achieving the wishes of the MPs that they expressed at the Parliament.

He also voiced hopes that the new Cabinet would make reforms in the infrastructure and the sectors mentioned in the Cedre conference.

He also hoped that the new government would succeed in fighting corruption, and to rise above differences and accusations.

“We urge leaders to focus on the key issues,” he added.
