PM Hariri in Sharm El-Sheikh to partake in Arab-European Summit

Prime Minister Saad Hariri arrived on Sunday to Sharm El-Sheikh heading a Lebanese delegation to partake in the 1st Arab-European Summit entitled "Investing in Stability".

The summit will be co-chaired by Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, and President of the European Council Donald Tusk.

The two-day summit will tackle economic and political issues and ways of cooperation between the European and Arab sides in several fields.

The accompanying delegation is formed of: Minister of Foreign Affairs Gebran Bassil, Minister of Finance Ali Hassan Khalil, Minister of Industry Wael Abu Faour and former Minister Ghattas Khoury.

Hariri is expected to meet with Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi on the sidelines of the summit and several heads of delegations and officials, including Emir of Kuwait Sabah bin Ahmad Al-Sabah, UK Prime Minister Theresa May, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other officials.
