Rai calls on officials to assume responsibilities and attend dialogue

Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai called on officials to assume their “historical responsibilities”, and to meet the call of President Michel Sleiman to attend the dialogue session.

During his Sunday sermon, Rai warned against division within the state “because it leads to perdition and misery”. He noted that “the domination of one party over another and personal interests are the causes of divisions”.
