Berri elected as Secretary of Arab parliamentary summit in Jordan

Speaker Nabih Berri was elected on Sunday as the Secretary of the 29th Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union summit held in Jordan.

Upon his arrival to participate in the conference entitled “Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the state of Palestine,” Berri hoped that the conference would unite all Arab parties.

He also noted that the participating nations must find “a new sort of conferences that can be associated with actions.”

Berri then met with King of Jordan Abdullah II with talks tackling the bileteral relations and the latest regional developments.
