Minister al-Jarrah: Target is not Siniora but a political team

Minister of Information Jammal al-Jarrah said on Tuesday that those who are targeting former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora are targeting a complete political team and a complete political phase.

He also noted that this side is known for its lack of credibility, adding that the Lebanese people are fully aware of the “political backgrounds behind this target."

Al-Jarrah’s comments were made after meeting with Grand Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Abdel Latif Darian at the Dar al-Fatwa.

He noted that documents and figures are now at the Audit Bureau and might be sent to the Parliament in order to prove that each lira was spent according to a legal document.
