Assir: The sit-in is not the last step

Sheikh of the Imam Bilal Bin Rabbah Mosque Ahmad al-Assir stressed that he removed his sit-in in Sidon after PM Najib Mikati and Interior Minister Marwan Charbel gave him guarantees that the weapons’ issue will be seriously discussed during the dialogue session.
During the Friday speech, Assir noted that, in case they did not commit to the guarantees, he will not remain silent, stressing that the sit-in is not the last step.

Assir slammed his political opponents in Sidon, stating that they were forgotten if it wasn’t for their positions toward his sit-in.
