PM Hariri and Egyptian counterpart sign memos of understanding

Prime Minister Saad Hariri and his Egyptian counterpart Mustafa Madbouli signed two memos of understanding, one related to the import of construction materials to Lebanon and another is related to the minutes of the meetings held by the Lebanese-Egyptian joint committee in Beirut.

 

During a joint press conference, PM Hariri said that “they focused during the meetings on means to boost economic cooperation between the two stated and to work on removing all obstacles in this regard.”

 

For his part, Egyptian PM Madbouli declared that he delivered a message from the Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi stressing all the support for Lebanon.

 

He also emphasized that the upcoming stage will witness deeper cooperation between Lebanon and Egypt, noting that it is necessary to improve bilateral relations.
