The Traffic Management Center said that a heavy traffic jam blocked Jbeil-Amchit highway on Sunday afternoon, due to the crowds attending the opening of a showroom on the roadside.
According to the state-run National News Agency, the traffic was caused after several citizens parked their cars on the side of the highway since the early morning hours outside a store that advertised massive sale on home appliances.
