Geagea: No one can pressure Lebanon into resettlement of refugees
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said on Saturday that no one can pressure Lebanon into resettlement because it is a sovereign issue of the Lebanese state alone.
Geagea’s comments were made during an interview with the Anadolu news agency whereby he noted that the stance of the Lebanese state concerning the return of the Syrian refugees is unified.
Geagea added the country can no longer bear the repercussions of the presence of 1.5 million refugees.
On another note, Geaga said that the US-Iranian tensions have huge repercussions on the region.
