President Michel Aoun met on Tuesday afternoon at Baabda presidential palace with Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, David Satterfield, and discussed with him the ongoing the communications regarding demarcation of the land and maritime borders in South Lebanon, as well as the efforts deployed by the United States to ensure the convenient atmosphere to start the demarcation process.
The meeting was held in the president of State Minister for Presidential Affairs Salim Jreissati.
Satterfield also briefed the president on the outcome of the talks he held and which will continue over the upcoming few days.
