Attorney-General for Appeals receives investigation file on Justice Palace fire

The Attorney-General for Appeals in Beirut Judge Bilal Dannawi received the investigation file concerning the causes of the fire that erupted on Tuesday on the fourth floor of the Justice Palace in Mathaf.

The Military Justice, represented by Military Prosecutor Fadi Akiki received the relevant investigation that aims at determining whether the fire was an arson or accident, and then referred it to the Public Prosecution. The file was then transferred to the Judiciary after it was revealed that the fire was an accident.
