Public Works Minister Youssef Finianos stressed Monday that the airport expansion works will continue, adding that once the works end, the difference will be apparent at the arrivals and departure halls.
For his part, Tourism Minister Avedis Guidanian said that the goal is to serve Lebanon’s interests and image, noting that the airport represents today the beginning of a positive indicator of change.
The first phase of the airport expansion was launched on Monday in the presence of the two ministers.
