Ziad Zakka says Nizar Zakka to be released soon
Ziad Zakka confirmed on Tuesday the imminent release of his brother Nizar Zakka, who has been detained in Iranian jail for 3 years and 9 months.

He stated that Nizar has fought for his innocence since day one, and he thanked everyone who believed in Nizar’s innocence and helped getting him free.

"We are very grateful during this Holiday and we thank God for this great gift of freedom, and we extend the deepest gratitude and thanks to President Michel Aoun and General Abbas Ibrahim who followed up on Nizar’s case closely since day one for the outstanding efforts to bring Nizar Home safely.”
