Minister of Foreign Affairs Gebran Bassil wrapped up his visit to Ireland with a meeting with the Lebanese community, where he said that “a person’s homeland is above all and we must act on this basis, protect each other and build our future and our economy under the roof of Lebanese affiliation.”
He added that the Lebanese are a united people, they may disagree with one another over political affiliation, but when they meet outside Lebanon they act as Lebanon, regardless of their sect or political affiliation.
"We ask you to promote Lebanon's products, and to strengthen ties and build partnerships in the field of information and communication technology," he stated.
