How did Miled Kfoury unmask Minister Samaha?
Miled Kfoury, Zouhair Nahhas and Amjad Srour, are the three names of one person who is in fact Miled Kfoury from the Metn town of Bologna and the one who set up former Minister Michel Samaha in the case of planning explosions in the North of Lebanon.

Miled Kfoury works in the field of security since 1983 and had a good relation with Elie Hobeika; however, he was not among his companions. He likes collecting information, what helped him build wide relations with several apparatuses, among which a relation with Michel Samaha and the ISF’s information branch. Kfoury established a security company which constituted a cover allowing him to continue practicing his “hobbies”. This company worked with Minister Mohammad Safadi since 2005, and provided him with security until the third week of July.

Security sources told LBCI, that due to the existing relation with Samaha, the latter contacted Kfoury in order to implement a plan. The sources noted that Kfoury was surprised when Samaha mentioned explosions, and directly contacted the ISF’s Information Branch and informed General Wissam al-Hassan of the facts. Upon the request of Hassan, Kfoury started recording all his meetings with Samaha.

According to the same sources, Miled Kfoury, who owns a house in Bologna, left Lebanon, while security apparatuses refuse to talk about him to provide him with a security protection for cooperating with them and helping them reveal the crime before occuring.

The security sources stressed that Samaha’s case will be very clear for the public opinion with the start of the investigations with the Military Investigative Judge Riyadh Abou Ghida.

Judicial sources noted that Judge Sami Sader charged former Minister Michel Samaha and the Syrian Generals following the confessions of Samaha. The sources were surprised when they heard of a possibility that Syrian President Bashar Assad will also be charged for the crimes, pointing that the Lebanese law does not allow the prosecution of States’ leaders.
