Samaha remains in the military police prison

Well informed sources told LBCI on Tuesday that former minister Michel Samaha remains up to this point at the military police prison and will not be transferred until the investigation is through.

Former Minister Samaha was arrested on Thursday 9th of August over involvement in explosion plots in several Lebanese regions, sources told LBCI.

In those regards, Samaha’s defense attorneys filed a legal complaint on Monday 13th of August against General Ashraf Rifi and Colonel Wissam al-Hassan on charges of leaking information, in contrast to the investigations’ confidentiality and credibility and to the notion of innocent until proven guilty.
