Qorem to LBCI: Lebanon suffers from a dangerous deflationary situation

Former Finance Minister Georges Qorem said that Lebanon suffers from a “dangerous deflationary situation.”

Qorem’s comments were made during an interview with LBCI’s Nharkom Said TV show whereby he said that the situation “needs an economic recovery, especially since the government lacks an economic vision.”

“Why are there still several poor areas, even though the Lebanese Constitution speaks of a balanced development?,” he concluded by saying.
