Abou Faour: 195000 Lebanese citizens live out of industry sector

Industry Minister Wael Abou Faour revealed on Wednesday that 195000 Lebanese citizens are living out of the industry sector according to Mackenzie report.

He also noted that the report showed that the industry growth by 1% secures one thousand new job opportunities.

Abou Faour’s comments were made during the launching of the national campaign to support the Lebanese industry whereby he said that in the first half of 2019, the value of exports rose to 660 million dollars, which is an increase of 4 percent.

He also stressed that the number of industrial licenses amounted to 286 licenses.
