Dar el-Fatwa says first day of Eid al-Adha will be on August 11
The Dar el-Fatwa said on Friday that first day of Eid al-Adha will be on August 11.
Eid al-Adha, also known as the  'Feast of the Sacrifice',  is the second of two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide each year (the other being Eid al-Fitr), and considered the holier of the two.
 
It honors the willingness of Ibrahim  to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God's command.
