Gosn: The army did not back down in Tripoli
Defense Minister Fayez Ghosn said on Thursday that the ongoing battles among the residents of the northern city of Tripoli could spill over to other areas in Lebanon. He stressed that the army hasn’t backed down or changed the course of its presence in the city.          

Ghosn called on Tripoli’s official figures to take effective measures to help the army restore order, urging all sides to assume their responsibilities.
