Prime Minister Saad Hariri stressed Tuesday that “the atmosphere is positive,” adding that they were promised economic assistance while negotiations are underway to hasten the investments in Lebanon, whether in electricity or financially.
In a chat with reporters in UAE, Hariri noted that “he does not think that no party in Lebanon could be annoyed from the return of relations between Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates,” pointing out that a Lebanese-Emirati committee has been formed to discuss the agreements reached after the investment conference.
“Lebanon is receiving support from the UAE, not Saad Hariri,” he said, adding that 18 agreements with Saudi Arabia have been finalized and two remain.
Afterward, Hariri concluded his visit to UAE and returned to Lebanon.
