Moussawi: we do not threaten with sedition

Member of Loyalty to the Resistance Parliamentary Bloc Nawaf Moussawi said Sunday during a sports event in south Lebanon that the Syrian situation has two possible endings, a settlement or an open ended civil war that would sweep the whole region with it; however, he contended that a settlement was inevitable and that Hezbollah, though has a specific intellectual identity, embraced all others and would not be dragged into strife.        

Moussawi stressed that there would be no winners and losers in neighboring Syria.           

Commenting on the electoral law, Mousawi said that the political life in Lebanon cannot be regulated within constitutional institutions if the electoral law did not secure a fair representation; otherwise the political life will be dragged to the street and the constitutional institutions will be disintegrated.             

"We [in Hezbollah] believe in multiculturalism and intellectual and political and partisan diversity in our home...so we say we do not threaten with sedition, and no one will be able to threaten us", he said.
