Israeli army warns residents of several South Lebanon areas

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued an urgent warning to residents in several towns and villages in South Lebanon, calling on them to evacuate immediately.

The warning targeted residents in Toura, Nabatiyeh Et Tahta, Habbouch, Bazouriye, Tayr Debba, Kfar Houneh, Ain Qana, Libbaya, Jibchit, Chehabiyeh, Borj El Chmali in Tyre, and Houmine El Faouqa.

Adraee said the Israeli military was being “forced to act strongly” against Hezbollah following what he described as violations of the ceasefire agreement.

He added that the Israeli army “does not intend to harm civilians,” urging residents to leave their homes immediately and move at least 1,000 meters away from the targeted towns and villages toward open areas.
