Salameh to LBCI: US dollar available in markets and monetary situation stable

Banque Du Liban Governor Riyad Salameh told LBCI on Friday that there will be no change on the circular previously issued by the BDL, adding that he explained the mechanism of the new circular to all parties and held meetings with the concerned ones.

Salameh noted that his aim is to “facilitating the import of main goods like medicine, flour and fuel,” asserting that the US dollar is available in the market and that the monetary situation is stable.
