Civil Defense sets emergency plan for transportation of critical health cases by sea

The Civil Defense Directorate General announced on Monday that an emergency plan was set for the transportation of those who are in critical health conditions, by sea, in cooperation between the Maritime Rescue Unit of the Civil Defense and the International Maritime academy.

Members in all maritime centers were mobilized: Jounieh (Headquarters), Batroun, Beirut, Jiyeh, Tyre and al-Abdeh (in coordination with the Lebanese Army).

Therefore, the Civil Defense calls on citizens who are compelled to commute for unforeseen health reasons to call the emergency number 125.
