French Ambassador to Lebanon Bruno Foucher declared Monday that “France hopes that a new Lebanese cabinet sees the light as soon as possible in order to take the necessary measures to revive the country that has been witnessing an alarming economic situation.”
During a memorial ceremony held at the Pine Palace, the ambassador said that they encouraged the authorities to deploy the maximum efforts to allow the protesters to express their opinions safely, stressing the need for the Lebanese officials to listen to the hopes and demands of the people.
