The employees of the mobile operator companies Alfa and Touch continued on Friday their open-ended strike, during which they halted all administrative, financial and technical operations.
They also staged a sit-in outside the companies’ premises in Furn al-Chebbak and Beirut downtown, calling on Telecom Minister Mohammad Choucair to grant them their rights and rejecting the 30% decrease in their annual income and failure to sign the collective contract that could guarantee their employment in any future contracts.
