Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said on Monday that the Strong Republic bloc took the decision of not partaking in Tuesday’s session.
“The bloc is however ready to participate in any session to elect parliamentary committees only,” Geagea said during a press conference following the bloc’s meeting.
“Is the country in need of more laws?” he asked.
Geagea added by saying that Lebanon’s problem lies “in not implementing the laws and not in finding new ones.”
He also noted that the agenda of tomorrow’s session is “not suitable,” stressing necessity of forming a national rescue government.
Geagea concluded by stressing importance of forming a new Cabinet that includes independent experts.
