The Association of Banks in Lebanon decided to suspend strike that was expected to be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 28, 29 and 30 of November, in order to provide banking operations for the citizens, mainly salary payments.
The association issued a statement on Wednesday, whereby it stressed the need to end this instable situation through the formation of a new cabinet that will return the confidence in the country and will work on addressing the economic, financial and living issues.
The association also denounced the riot and attacks targeting a number of bank branches in an unprecedented manner, noting that such acts are considered attacks against the economic, social and security stability.
