Hezbollah: Syria's media ban is a violation against media freedom
Hezbollah described the decision taken to prevent Syrian Channels from broadcasting on Arab satellites as a form of suppression of the freedom of opinion and speech. “They are trying to silence the Syrian media after a series of assaults were launched against Syrian media figures."        

In a statement, Hezbollah condemned the decision and considered it a violation to the law which governs media works. The party voiced solidarity with the Syrian media channels “which aims to show the reality truly as it is, without distorting facts”.
