Hostages’ kidnappers want Maj. Gen. Rifi to join negotiations
Sheikh Bilal Deqmaq continued his negotiations in Turkey on Thursday, with the kidnappers of the Lebanese hostages in Syria, to broker an agreement and hence secure their release.          

Deqmaq, who is conducting the negotiations from a region close to the Syrian border, told LBCI that the kidnappers demanded that the ISF director general Ashraf Rifi participate in the negotiations as a representative of the Lebanese government.
