Economy Minister Nehmeh holds meeting with owners of supermarkets
Minister of Economy Raoul Nehmeh met on Saturday with owners of supermarkets and suppliers and asked them to “temporarily” extend their working hours while taking precautions in order to enable Lebanese citizens to buy their needs and to limit the number of people inside the supermarkets as a sort of precautions against Coronavirus.

The minister was also assured that food and goods are available “in abundance” in Lebanese markets.
Nehmeh concluded by stressing importance of not exploiting Lebanon’s extraordinary situation to raise the prices unjustifiably.
