Beirut Order of Engineers rejects Mikati’s 10% increase
The president of the Beirut Order of Engineers, Elie Bsaibes voiced the Order's objection to the PM Najib Mikati proposal i.e. the 10% increase on public investment in all Lebanese regions, considering that this raise would increase the price of lands and housing units.

Bsaibes instead suggested several alternative funding sources such as fees and fines related to the occupation and investment of maritime public properties.
