Mother, daughter shot dead in Jdita

A Lebanese woman identified as Lina Y. A. (born in 1973) and her daughter (born in 2004) were shot dead on Friday in the Bekaa town of Jdita.

Another daughter was also shot and is in a critical health condition.

This as the family’s neighbors heard gunshots and informed the security forces who rushed to the scene of the murder ad discovered the bodies and the injured.

The Lebanese Armed Forces Intelligence Branch then arrested the woman’s son who is until now the main suspect of the murder.
