Diab chairs meeting devoted to second phase of Lebanese citizens’ repatriation

Prime Minister Hassan Diab on Thursday chaired a meeting dedicated to studying all necessary measures to launch the second phase of repatriation of Lebanese citizens.

Attending the meeting were Ministers of Defense, Zeina Akar, Foreign Affairs Nassif Hitti, Public Works and Transport Michel Najjar, Interior Mohammad Fahmi, Information Manal Abdel Samad, and Labor Lamia Yammine, as well as MEA Chairman Mohammad Hout, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Mahmoud Makkieh, Political Affairs Chief at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ghadi Khoury, and PM Advisor for health issues, Petra Khoury.

Attendees discussed logistic means of phase two repatriation, scheduled to start early next week.
