Sehnaoui launches free internet service in Saint-Joseph garden

Telecommunications Minister Nicolas Sehnaoui launched on Thursday a free internet service in Saint Joseph garden, Rmeil, in the presence of Father Jean-Paul Abou Ghazal, representing Maronite Archbishop of Beirut, Bishop Boulos Matar, and other official figures.

After unveiling a memorial painting at the entrance of the garden, Sehnaoui noted that “the internet service has become an essential element of the Lebanese citizens’ everyday life”, pointing that this initiative aims at encouraging Beirut’s residents to “return to nature through the gardens which were provided with free internet service by the Telecommunications Ministry”.
