Geagea stresses importance of upcoming parliamentary elections

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea stressed on Tuesday the importance of the upcoming parliamentary elections, adding that "in case March 14 alliance won the majority, it will form a cabinet to take the country from its current state to another".

During the second annual meeting for Physiotherapists of the Lebanese Forces, Geagea noted that the Lebanese parties are in the process of reaching a major achievement represented by changing the electoral law.

In this context, Geagea considered that the Lebanese community is capable of changing the political ensemble through parliamentary elections. "I regret the fact that the officials speaking of the issues we have been struggling with in the country stand, during ceremonies, alongside the politicians who have caused these issues, while the people re-elect the same politicians", he said.
