Rai from Beirut Airport: We must not go back to 1960s electoral law
Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai said on Sunday that Bkerke is not asking for a new law, but “is stressing that the 1960s electoral law has reduced Lebanon to its sorry condition.”    

From Rafik Hariri International Ariport and prior to his departure to Hungary and Rome, Rai said “if we really want to live in an atmosphere of coexistence, diversity, unity and mutual respect and if we want to be faithful to the Lebanese National Pact, we must not go back to the 1960s law.”       

Rai’s visit will last until October 30.
