Berri calls for joint session next Thursday to discuss electoral law

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri called on Friday on the committees of finance, budget, administration, justice, foreign affairs, civil defense, interior, municipalities, information and telecommunication to hold a joint meeting on Thursday October 11, at 10:30 am.

During the meeting, the committees will discuss an agenda which includes the draft law mentioned in the decree number 8913 concerning the parliamentary elections and the draft law on the amendment of the parliamentary electoral law presented by MPs Neemtallah Abi Naser and Alain Aoun. MP Nabil De Freij's draft law will also be up for discussions alongside the law presented by MPs Boutros Harb, George Adwan and Elie Marouni.
