Vocational teachers call for massive participation in Wednesday’s strike and protest
The League of Public Technical and Vocational Teachers called on Saturday for a massive participation in Wednesday’s sit-in and protest.

In a statement, the League stressed that teachers, employees, retirees, contractors and wage earners will not remain arms folded if their dignity is undermined, especially given the government’s approach to the ranks and salaries series and its “suspicious procrastination” to refer the series to the Parliament.

The League called for a general strike in all technical institutes and vocational schools on Wednesday. It also urged “all colleagues in vocational and technical education to participate massively in the central protest that will kick off at 11 am on Wednesday from the UNESCO square, heading to the Grand Serail.”
