Yemen thwarts car bomb attack targeting air base used by US troops
The Yemeni army thwarted a car bomb attack that was targeting the Anad air base used by US soldiers to train Yemeni forces in fighting against terrorism in the southern province of Lahj, a military official, who spoke on condition of anonymity reported.                      

He said the "Americans on the base were the target of the attack."
