Siniora urges Hezbollah to halt its involvement in the Syrian crisis

Head of the Future Bloc, Fouad Siniora stressed on Wednesday the danger posed by the involvement of Hezbollah in the military conflict taking place in Syria and the support given to one party against the other, under the pretext of "Duty of Jihad".

After calling on a number of figures, including President Michel Sleiman, Speaker Nabih Berri and deputy president of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council, Siniora called for deploying necessary efforts "to urge Hezbollah to halt its involvement in the Syrian armed conflict and to let the Syrian people solve their own problems".
