LAF calls for reporting abuse performed by foreign workers

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command declared on Thursday that it will continue the raid operations and investigations in the areas where foreign workers are said to be living and who are accused of attacking Lebanese citizens.

The LAF Command noted, in a statement, that it is still receiving many calls and complaints from Lebanese citizens from across the country, demanding the suppression of harassment of young men and women in residential areas. Therefore the Army calls on all victims of abuse of any kind, to call security and military forces in order to interfere as soon as possible to prevent the attack.

In this context, the LAF Command declared that, within the framework of maintaining security and stability and fighting against all kinds of crimes, and as a result of the security measures implemented across the country during the month of September, LAF units have arrested around 900 people from different nationalities, some of them are wanted people according to arrest warrants issued against them and others were arrested for committing various crimes.
