Buddhist monks protest against Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Burma
Thousands of Buddhist monks protested in Mandalay on Friday afternoon against the opening of an Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) office in Burma and the destruction of Buddhist monasteries in Cox’s Bazar in neighboring Bangladesh.                   

An official participating in the demonstration noted that the OIC does not defend the Human Rights but the rights of Muslims.
