Future bloc: Hezbollah’s stances pose serious threat to defense strategy

The Future bloc said on Tuesday that Hezbollah’s stances and practices pose a serious threat to the discussion of the defense strategy.     

Following its weekly meeting, the bloc condemned what it views as the Lebanese people’s disregard of such an important event, considering that launching a drone to Israel’s airspace would place an unbearable burden on the shoulders of the Lebanese state which cannot bear a new tutelage.       

The bloc warned against the dangers of the statement made by the Lebanese Foreign Minister who considered that the Ayoub drone launched by Hezbollah does not violate UNSCR 1701, pointing out that Nasrallah’s speech confirmed Hezbollah’s involvement in the Syrian armed conflict.     

The bloc called for speeding up investigations into the alleged shooting on the convoy of the Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun and for punishing all those who try to instigate strife.      

On the Roumieh prison break scandal, the bloc asked: “Is it possible to fail in the reconstruction of gates and doors for Roumieh’s prison?”     

Commenting on the Energy Minister and the EDL, the bloc condemned those who accused Gibran Bassil of employing those affiliated to him.
