Mother and Father charged for illicit drug trade, use child as camouflage
After a long tracking process and based on prior information, a patrol from Beirut's police department arrested a drug smuggling ring in Wata al-Msaytbeh, inlcuding Hussain (Lebanese, born in 1989), his wife Christina (born in 1988) and their child. Accomplice Tony (born in 1989) was also found a few meters away inside a Champagne-colored Cherokee Jeep, 2011 model with a plate number (S/177598).

A large sum of money was seized in their possession, apparently resulting from the sale of large quantities of drugs, along with 25 heroin envelopes.

It is noteworthy that the child was used as a disguise to remove suspicion. Upon the arrest of his parents, the police contacted his grandfather. The police arrested the 3 culprits to identify the source of the drugs, the clients who have bought them and the clients waiting in Wata al-Msaytbeh.
