Abu Faour: The ratification of ranks, salaries series does not solve poverty problem

Minister of Social Affairs Wael Abu Faour said on Thursday that the ratification of the series of ranks and salaries does not solve the problem of severe poverty in Lebanon.

In a press conference held on the occasion of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, Abu Faour said that Lebanon is in dire need of a wider economic plan and more initiatives in those regards. “We must also break the vicious cycle of inflation which may be caused by the series," he said.
