Assir: We face a party that masters the art of lying and deceiving

The Imam of Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque, Sheikh Ahmad Assir held on Saturday a sit-in in condemnation of the Achrafieh explosion which targeted Brig. Gen. Wissam al-Hassan.

In a speech he delivered before the protesters, Assir said that the Lebanese crisis is closely linked to the arms of strife, Revolutionary Guards, Syrian regime and Hezbollah.

"We are facing a party that masters the art of lying and deceiving in order to serve Iran’s interests", Assir said.

Sheikh Assir added that Maj. Gen. Wissam Hassan came through Beirut airport, noting that the party controlling the airport is well-known by everyone.

Commenting on Iran, Assir stressed that "by nature, we cannot live with Velayat al-Faqih", calling on the Lebanese to unite in order to abolish Iran's influence in Lebanon. He added that the Iranian project is slaughtering and killing the Lebanese people, stressing the need to prevent this project from being implemented in the country.

While insisting that he refuses to block roads and to create havoc in the streets, he said however that "he will no longer remain silent", calling for mobilizing the streets.
