REPORT: Ashrafieh victims: subjects of blatant disregard
The people who were injured following the Ashrafieh explosion are receiving appropriate treatment at public hospitals, without any official attention.

Some consider them numbers, while for others they are their loved ones. Some are fighting for their lives while others have recovered.

24-year-old Stephanie, whose place of employment happened to be next to the site of the explosion, crossed the critical phase, however says that "what she went through is not easy".

Elias who went to have launch at a place near the crime scene returned wounded, while Laure, who was praying inside her house, was injured in the head when the windows' glass shattered.

While the majority of the injured checked out of the hospitals, three people remain in critical condition.

Pain is not the only common factor which brings these victims together, but blatant disregard for their health is also present. None of them received a visit from any political official.
