REPORT: Quest for clean energy plunges Dahr el Baydar road into darkness

The residents of the areas surrounding the Dahr el Baydar international road and citizens who cross it on a daily basis suffer from a real problem. For over a month now, the road has not been lit during the night due to the failure to implement the street lighting project based on solar and and wind power.

A source from the Ministry of Public Affairs said that the ministry is working to re-install lights based on solar energy.

The Dahr el Baydar road is considered as one of the main arteries to and fro Syria.
